Delete Your Mathophy Account
Mathophy provides students with a way to request deletion of their Mathophy account and associated personal information.
How to Delete Your Account
You can request account deletion directly from the Mathophy app.
- Open the Mathophy app and sign in to your account.
- Open your Profile.
- Select the Delete Account option.
- Review the deletion confirmation message.
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
Mathophy may require you to authenticate again before completing account deletion for security purposes.
What Data Is Deleted?
When account deletion is successfully completed, Mathophy deletes the account associated with the user and the student's profile information stored by Mathophy.
This may include information such as:
- Name and account identification information
- Email address and phone-related account information
- Student profile and academic information
- Account-associated student records
User-Generated Content
Content submitted through Mathophy, including educational questions, answers, and uploaded images, may be associated with your account. Account deletion will result in deletion of account-associated information that Mathophy is able to delete through its account deletion process.
Data Retention
Mathophy does not intend to retain personal account information longer than reasonably necessary after an account deletion request. Certain information may nevertheless be retained where required by applicable law, for security purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
Where information is required to be retained, it will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements and Mathophy's Privacy Policy.

Once your account has been deleted, you will be signed out and will need to create a new account if you wish to use Mathophy again.
